“I think of painting as making really short movies.”
Jon’s first career was as a painter. He exhibited extensively throughout Canada and for over a decade with Ingram Gallery in Toronto. He has contributed many paintings as album artwork, including albums by Julie Doiron. Mike Feuerstack, Shotgun Jimmie and the Gertrudes. This painting is for Gord Downie’s Battle of the Nudes, which was nominated in 2006 for a Juno.
